 Today we are going to look at the overview of Unit 8 and 8.1 We will need to do the study questions at the end of 8.1 and one SAQ. 8.1 Setting the Stage for the Cold War Learning Objective A: Explain the historical context of the Cold War a f ter 1945 KC-6.2.IV.C.i - Technological and economic gains experienced during World War II by the victorious nations shi f ted the global balance of power. Learning Objective B: Explain the causes and e f fects of the ideological struggle of the Cold War.
